Hello Parents,
Today we had the ELEV8 Lacrosse organization come in to teach us how to play lacrosse. The skills that we learned today were on maintaining and keeping control of the ball.
- Flip the pancake-- Try to keep the ball in the net of the lacrosse stick while spinning the stick horizontally.
- Draw a circle -- Throw the ball in the air with your lacrosse stick and draw a circle before the ball lands in the net of your lacrosse stick.
- Shooting the ball-- point the butt end of the stick in the direction you want to throw. Aim towards the ground so that it will go into the net.
